2019 NAC Start Orders and Results

NAC OVERVIEW

U.S. Figure Skating and Skate Canada will hold the 2019 North American Cup for novice level athletes, in conjunction with Skate Milwaukee in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, July 8-12, 2019, Lake Placid Ice Dance Competition in Lake Placid, New York, July 30 – August 2, 2019 and Wild Rose Invitational in Leduc (Alberta), Canada, August 2-3, 2019.

U.S. Figure Skating and Skate Canada’s Athlete Development and High-Performance Development Departments are hosting the North American Cup. These events are international development competitions; this is not a Team USA event and is not selected by the International Committee.

Objectives of the North American Cup:

  • To provide an opportunity for athletes that competed at the sectional or national level, to simulate an international competition, and compete against top athletes from both the U.S. and Canada.
  • Athletes will receive feedback from national and world-level officials.
  • For athletes to compete in an international style event while representing their team
  • For the competition and program to be a fun and inspirational learning experience for both athletes and parents.

GENERAL AND TECHNICAL INFORMATION

The North American Cup will be conducted in accordance with the International Judging System and criteria will be established by U.S. Figure Skating and Skate Canada. Participation criteria were determined by the Athlete Development Committee (ADC), and its respective discipline subcommittee.
