The Skate AB|NT|NU Hall of Fame, launched in 2019 creates a long-lasting tribute to Coaches, Builders, Officials and Professionals who have made a meaningful impact on the sport of figure skating in Alberta, Northwest Territories and Nunavut.
Nomination Process
Nominations will be received in each of four categories:
- Athletes
- Builders (Club and Section Volunteers, Managers, Event Coordinators etc.)
- Officials
- Professionals (Coaches / Choreographers)
There are many worthy individuals within Skate AB|NT|NU under each of these four categories. While many Section Members have experienced International success; there are many who have worked hard at the grassroots level and affected the lives of dozens of athletes. We’re looking to the Skate AB|NT|NU Membership to nominate those individuals. Examples include:
- An Official who has dedicated their life to officiating, monitoring, adjudicating figure skating tests and supported athletes of all levels
- A Section, Club, Event Volunteer or Coach who has brought their skillset to the forefront of Skating and positively impacted the experience of our athletes for years.
