Launching into a New Era: Progressive Club Programming
What does this mean to your club? How ready is your club?
This interactive workshop will focus on planning for forward thinking club programming, investigating styles of club leadership that impact technical programs and provide tools and resources for effective club management. Interactive and creative ideas will come from you with a little guidance from our workshop facilitators and guest presenters. Examples of different and successful club models will be presented for you to explore the possibilities that live within each club and its demographic.
Holly Henderson, Technical Director, Skate Canada: Alberta-NWT/Nunavut
Travis Hillier, Skate Canada: Alberta-NWT/Nunavut Board Director & Membership Relations Committee Chair
Effective Communication and Marketing Club Programming
This session will complement “Launching a New Era: Progressive Club Programming” as we explore strategic communication. By identifying key user groups and communication objectives we can ensure our interactions with followers are relevant, timely and concise.
In addition, this seminar will provide tips on how to manage your social media accounts, what to look for when communicating and being aware of potential hazards of social media.
